Drive-thru COVID-19 Screening Location
A screening site has been set up in the southeast parking lot of the Baptist Health Medical Plaza. The drive-thru testing site is open from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. seven days a week. Those wishing to be tested can call (479) 709-6845 to pre-register for a COVID-19 test.
Baptist Health-Fort Smith Emergency Department is open and providing care for all types of emergency conditions.
Please do not delay appropriate visits to the ER due to fear of exposure to COVID-19. Delay of care could result in poorer overall health outcomes and even life-threatening situations. We assure you that we are treating all patients in a safe and appropriate environment, following all guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Baptist Health’s specialty clinics are open, accepting new patients and offering several options for care, including both telehealth and in-person visits.
All patients scheduled for an in-person visit at a clinic will be pre-screened for COVID-19 signs, symptoms and exposure. Our clinics are safe and follow all guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

To assist residents in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma, Baptist Health has established a free hotline to address questions surrounding the coronavirus. The number is (479) 709-6845 and is staffed by nurses from Baptist Health affiliated clinics from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is aimed at helping residents better understand conditions from the comfort of their homes and receive direction on the next steps for care.
