To assist residents in western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma, Baptist Health has established a free hotline to address questions surrounding the coronavirus. The number is (479) 289-6508 and is staffed by nurses from Baptist Health affiliated clinics from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. It is aimed at helping residents better understand conditions from the comfort of their homes and receive direction on the next steps for care.

About Baptist Health-Fort Smith

Baptist Health-Fort Smith was the first hospital built in Arkansas in 1887. It is currently a 492-bed medical center accredited by The Joint Commission. Visiting Hours

General visiting hours are open.

Intensive Care Units
Visiting arrangements will be made upon admission to the ICUs. The medical and nursing staff retain the right to limit visitors based on the clinical status of the individual patient and the overall status of the unit. The preferred maximum number of visitors within a room at one time is two.

Southeast entrance is open from 6 am-5 pm.
All other entrances are open from 6 am-9 pm. Enter through emergency department after 9 pm.

Labor & Delivery
No visitors between 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.- 6:00 a.m.

Senior Care
12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m.
5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday
1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Parking Information

Parking for visitors is conveniently located in lots near the hospital’s Main Entrance. The lots are well lit and regularly checked by the security staff. However, Baptist Health is not responsible for damage to vehicles or property stolen from cars parked on the lots. Free valet service is also available to all patients at our Main Entrance from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday.

Monday-Friday 6:30am-10pm.
