Why Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock?

I took an interest in BHMC-LR for their wide variety of experiences. During my interview, the pharmacy team was very welcoming and I could tell that this is a team that is invested in the success of their residents. I am excited to get the opportunity to train under experienced pharmacists and grow into a well-rounded, competent pharmacist.

Why Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock?

I chose Baptist Health LR because of the wonderful preceptors and pharmacists I came into contact with while on fourth year rotations at the Little Rock campus. I saw firsthand how pharmacy-friendly everyone was at Baptist, and truly felt like I could make an impact in the acute care setting. The opportunities at Baptist directly align with my pharmacy interests (cardiology and internal medicine), and the learning environment is truly unmatched. Having the potential to match at Baptist LR was one of the greatest excitements of the residency application process! I truly saw myself as a great fit for the program and am so thankful for the opportunity to learn and develop my skill set at such a highly esteemed institution. I’m confident that the diverse requirements of the PGY-1 program here at Baptist LR will provide me with a solid foundation in preparing to enter into the world of clinical pharmacy and eventually becoming board certified.
