The original Stuttgart Memorial Hospital opened in 1957. In 2009 the facility became a part of the Baptist Health system. Baptist Health-Stuttgart is licensed by the state of Arkansas for 49 acute care beds.

This hospital is one of eleven Baptist Health hospitals in Arkansas and is a member of the Arkansas and American Hospital Association, major health networks and is Medicare certified.

Visiting hours are open hours. However, after 9 pm, enter through the emergency department.
