Dr. Eric Gordon was born and raised in Russellville, Arkansas. He attended the University of Arkansas, where he received a degree in psychology. Following college, he spent the next nine years of his life in and around the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he earned his medical degree and then completed residency in orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Gordon then moved to Los Angeles, where he completed a fellowship in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute. Dr. Gordon returned to his home state in 2006 to serve the needs of the local community.

He specializes in care of knee and shoulder problems, fracture care, and sports-related injuries.  In particular he enjoys treating all conditions of the knee from minor procedures to full reconstruction. He serves as team physician and orthopaedic surgeon for the Arkansas Travelers, Arkansas Baptist College, North Little Rock High School, Catholic High School, and Mount St. Mary Academy.  In addition, he serves as the medical director for Junior Deputy baseball in Little Rock.  He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.  He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and also holds subspecialty certification in sports medicine.

Dr. Gordon is blessed with a lovely wife and four young boys. In his spare time, he can often be found in the gym lifting weights or coaching basketball.  He is a USA Basketball certified coach and gets satisfaction mentoring young men on the court and in life.
