Dr. Deborah Bursey’s practice generally endorses the team approach, and she helps in guiding the team toward a particular medical problem. Dr. Bursey and her team use these abilities to develop a treatment plan and help the patient to overcome their barriers to better health. The patient plays a vital role in the team. Dr. Bursey’s goal is that the patients will become more committed to improving their overall health. Patient engagement toward better health is not only her reward it is her inspiration.

Dr. Bursey also enjoys assisting in educating trainees and other disciplines specifically about diabetes and endocrinology. In her leisure time, she enjoys swimming and cooking.
