While looking for employment, I was impressed to hear that Baptist Health encourages or allows employees to pray with a patient. Not just say, “I’ll say a prayer for you,” but to actually hold a patient’s hand and pray out loud with them. So, if it is placed on my heart to pray with someone, I do. The patient’s that I’ve prayed with were impressed as well. Thank you Baptist Health for making me comfortable with who I am as a Christian in my everyday walk.
