LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health Community Outreach invites residents of central Arkansas to register for a free, three-session diabetes education class in April.
The classes will be Fridays in April – April 14, 21 and 28 – from noon to 1 p.m. at the Partnership for a Healthy Arkansas Building, 10117 Kanis Road.
Over the course of the program, participants will learn how to manage their health through nutrition and physical activity as well as techniques to reduce stress and help them cope. Topics will also include diabetes risk factors, complications and self-management.
