LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Fashion designer Nicole Miller will be the special guest and featured speaker at the 26th annual Baptist Health Foundation Bolo Bash luncheon on Wednesday, April 8, 2015.
For more than 30 years, Miller has added her signature sexy, yet classic style to her designs with great detail given to the fabric’s drape and fit regarding proportions, curves and necklines. Her styles range from body-conscious cocktail dresses to ready to wear and bridal, but she is best known for her form-flattering dresses. Miller draws inspiration from a wide range of influences including cinema, contemporary art, mid-20th century cinema, and exotic cultures.
With a degree in fine arts from The Rhode Island School of Design and a degree from l’ École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture Parisienne in Paris, Miller combines her art training with couture technique. This, along with her French heritage, has given her a unique style and vision. Her clothing has been worn by celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Joss Stone, Jennifer Aniston, Beyoncé, Blake Lively and Eva Longoria among others.
When not designing, Nicole is an avid skier, wake-boarder, traveler, and foodie. She lives with her husband Kim and their son Palmer in New York City, spending weekends in Sag Harbor.
The Bolo Bash luncheon will begin with a silent auction at 11 a.m., then lunch and guest speaker at noon in the J.A. Gilbreath Conference Center at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock. Dilliard’s is the presenting sponsor.
The 2015 goal is to raise $200,000 for the Surgical Center Expansion completing the final phase of the Capital Campaign. The expansion will provide the latest technology and resources to the Baptist Health surgical staff. We have already completed seven new operating rooms including a hybrid OR. We are excited and looking forward to a new pre and post-operative area, which will allow our patients and their families’ better service.
Bolo Bash is Baptist Health’s largest fundraising event and has raised more than $10 million to improve and enhance the care of Arkansans since its kickoff in 1989.
Tickets for the Bolo Bash luncheon are now available and can be purchased in advance by contacting Jamie Deason, Baptist Health Foundation special events coordinator, at 501-202-1827, or email her at Jamie.Deason@baptist-health.org.
