Dr. Ronald Schlabach Joins Baptist Health Family Clinic-Alma

ALMA, Ark. – Ronald Schlabach, MD, recently joined Baptist Health Family Clinic-Alma. He provides care for all ages and is now accepting new patients.

Dr. Schlabach has been a primary care physician in the River Valley since 1990. He was a part of Holt-Krock Clinic, as well as Sparks Health System until 2016. He most recently worked at River Valley Primary Care Services’ Northside Clinic in Fort Smith.

Dr. Schlabach earned a medical degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City in 1987. He completed his residency in Family Practice at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences AHEC program in Fort Smith.

As a family medicine physician, Dr. Schlabach provides treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, and minor injuries including diabetes, high blood pressure and depression. He also provides wellness exams and physicals for all ages.

He and his wife, Teresa, have two grown daughters. In his free time, Dr. Schlabach serves as the team physician for the Alma School District athletic program and volunteers at the Alma Performing Arts Center.
