LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health Heart Institute-Little Rock recently welcomed Dr. Wesley Fiser with Arkansas Cardiology to its team on the Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock campus.
Fiser, a Little Rock native, received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and completed his residency as chief medical resident at George Washington University in Washington D.C. He finished his medical education with a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at UAMS also as a chief medical resident.
“I became a cardiologist because I enjoy helping people feel empowered to achieve a better state of wellness and improved quality of life while living with heart disease,” Fiser said. “Being a cardiologist gives me the unique opportunity to provide care to patients both in the acute emergency setting, as well as in the long-term management of their heart condition.”
Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Echocardiography, Fiser’s specializations include the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases, preventive cardiology and non-invasive cardiac imaging such as echocardiography, nuclear SPECT and coronary CTA.
Fiser, along with the other 12 physicians from Arkansas Cardiology’s Little Rock clinic, provides care in general cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear myocardial perfusion imaging, cardiac stress imaging, cardioversions, diagnostic coronary angiography and coronary CT angiography.
Arkansas Cardiology in Little Rock is located at 9501 Baptist Health Drive, Suite 600, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
