Baptist Health Opens New Ortho Clinic in Stuttgart

STUTTGART, Ark. – Baptist Health and Dr. David Wassell have partnered to provide Stuttgart residents with high-quality orthopedic services in a more convenient location that’s closer to home with the opening of Baptist Health Orthopedic Clinic-Stuttgart (BHOC-Stuttgart).

An Arkansas native and avid duck hunter, Wassell is now a full-time fixture in Stuttgart as he provides his orthopedic expertise at the clinic. Located at 1703 N. Buerkle Street, Suite 1, inside Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart, BHOC-Stuttgart is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Some of the services provided at BHOC-Stuttgart include care for shoulder and elbow pain, hand and wrist injuries, pain management, rheumatology, hip and knee replacement, foot and ankle issues, osteoporosis, and more.

Wassell earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs. He then served as an Air Force Captain and F-16 fighter pilot. After completing his military service, Wassell earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He previously worked for OrthoArkansas until moving to his solo practice in Stuttgart.
