Baptist Health Offers Free Webinar on Male Urinary Incontinence

FORT SMITH, Ark. – In honor of Men’s Health Month, Baptist Health is offering a free educational webinar to help raise awareness about male stress urinary incontinence (SUI), a common but often overlooked condition that affects approximately 1 in 10 men in the U.S., especially those over the age of 60.

The webinar will be presented by Dr. John Terrell, a urologist with Baptist Health, on Wednesday, June 18, at 6 p.m. SUI is typically experienced as urinary leakage during physical activities that increase abdominal pressure, such as sneezing, coughing, laughing or lifting. This condition can significantly impact a man’s confidence and daily life.

During the live webinar, Dr. Terrell will discuss:

  • The causes and symptoms of male urinary incontinence
  • Risk factors and diagnosis
  • A variety of effective treatment options available

“We want to help men understand that they’re not alone and that real solutions exist,” said Dr. Terrell. “Our goal is to provide information that empowers men to take control of their health and get back to enjoying life.”

The event is open to the public, and registration is free. To sign up or learn more, visit https://baptist-health.co/TerrellTalk.
