Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock Wins National Research Corporation’s Consumer Choice Award For 20th Consecutive Year

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – For the 20th consecutive year, Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock has been named a Consumer Choice Award winner by the National Research Corporation. The annual award identifies hospitals across America that local healthcare consumers choose as having the highest quality and image.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Consumer Choice Award celebrating the power of a strong brand image in healthcare. Winners are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in the NRCs nationally syndicated Healthcare Market Guide.

The four measures used to determine the 2015/2016 Consumer Choice Award winners are Best Overall Quality, Best Image/Reputation, Best Doctors and Best Nurses. In addition to these measures, the survey also asks consumers about:

Among all 14 measurements and more than 900 Arkansans in 13 counties surveyed, Baptist Health ranked as the leader in almost every category.

The Healthcare Market Guide is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive study of its kind. No other study used to measure hospital performance and preferences contains more consumer responses than NRCs study which surveys more than 300,000 households throughout the United States.
