“The Baptist Health Little Rock Open will bring a level of tennis to Arkansas we haven’t seen since The Davis Cup in the mid 1970s,” said Brent Birch, this year’s tournament committee chairman. “The talent level of the tennis players will provide awesome action for spectators and the event will be first class in every way. The Baptist Health Little Rock Open is a can’t miss event for area tennis players and fans.”
The Baptist Health Little Rock Open, presented by Standard Business Systems, will benefit Baptist Health Foundation’s Give Fresh: The Power of Food program, which distributes fresh produce from Arkansas farms to high-need neighborhoods. The families that receive these bags of food are also given tips on how healthy eating habits will impact their health.
Volunteer opportunities in a variety of capacities are available for the Baptist Health Little Rock Open. Available positions and time slots are listed on the event’s website by clicking “Volunteer.” All volunteers, who must be 12 years of age or older, will receive a T-shirt to wear during their shift and will get free entry all week.
