MAUMELLE, Ark. – Jalesia Austin, APRN, recently joined the team at Baptist Health Family Clinic-Maumelle.
Austin, a Little Rock native, received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and a Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
“I take pride in caring for others,” Austin said. “I love to educate patients on healthy lifestyles, controlling chronic diseases and preventing hospitalizations. I am a caring, empathetic provider who provides safe and patient-centered care.”
In her spare time, Austin enjoys traveling the world and spending time with family. She has an interest in volunteering in the community and teaching CPR.
