FAIRFIELD BAY, Ark. – Baptist Health Family Clinic-Fairfield Bay (BHFC-Fairfield Bay) welcomes Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Keitha Keech as another provider to meet the healthcare needs of Van Buren County and the surrounding communities.
Keech received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro in 1994. As a registered nurse, Keech’s professional experience has included working at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center, Stone County Medical Center, Arkansas Department of Health and St. Frances Hospital. Keech recently returned to ASU and completed her Masters of Science in Nursing in 2014 and received her certification as an APRN.
APRNs are prepared by education and certification to assess, diagnose and manage patient problems, order tests and prescribe medications.
Located at 110 Village Lane, Suite 2B, BHFC-Fairfield Bay offers a wide range of medical services for the family such as basic lab testing, drug screenings, exams, educational services and school physicals.
Keech will be joining Dr. John Herring and APRN Cheryl Golden at the clinic, which is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. to noon. Same day appointments offered in most cases.
To welcome Keech to the community, an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony will be hosted by the Fairfield Bay Chamber on Nov. 11 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the clinic, which is a service of Baptist Health Medical Center-Heber Springs.
