CONWAY, Ark. – Dr. Teresa Bau recently joined Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway as one of the newest hospitalists on staff.
Bau, who specializes in hospital medicine, received her medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean and completed her residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
She is certified in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Advanced Cardiovascular, Basic and Advanced Trauma Life Support as well as board-certified in Family Medicine.
“I try to lead by example, but I’m only human, so I try to connect to my patients with stories and personal examples,” Bau said. “Being a first-generation American whose parents aren’t completely fluent in English, I’m accustomed to explaining medical terminologies and processes in a way that even the common person can understand.”
