CONWAY, Ark. – Baptist Health recently announced the promotion of four employees to leadership positions at Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway.
Jason Eakin, PharmD., has been named director of Pharmacy. Eakin graduated from Mississippi State with a bachelor of science in chemistry in 1995. He earned his doctor of pharmacy from UAMS college of Pharmacy in 2000. Eakin joined Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock in 2001 where he worked as a clinical pharmacist until his promotion to supervisor in 2010.
Andrew Eller has accepted the director of Emergency Services position at Conway. Eller received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston in 2004 and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston in 2015. Before coming to Baptist Health, he was director of Emergency Services at Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas. In his new role at BHMC-Conway he will be responsible for overseeing a 16-bed emergency department that will be designated as a Level 3 Trauma Center and the day-to-day responsibilities of overseeing the shift supervisors.
Stephana Loyd has been named vice president of Patient Care and chief nursing officer. Loyd completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She continued her education at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where she completed a Master’s of Nursing Science. Loyd began at Baptist Health in 1984 in the Nursing Development department. She then transferred to the Admissions department in 1994 where she was named director four years later. In 2001, Loyd was promoted to assistant vice president of Patient Care at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock.
Michelle McFail, RNC-OB, MSN, has been named director of Medical/Surgical and Women’s and Children’s Services. McFail completed her BSN from Texas Woman’s University in 1997 and her MSN from the University of South Alabama in 2008. She came to Baptist Health in 2010. She has served in several roles, including manager of the Mother/Baby unit and most recently director of Medical/Surgical Nursing at Little Rock.
Eller and McFail are residents of Conway and Eakin and Loyd are from Maumelle.
