Baptist Health Announces Hospital Leadership Appointments in North Little Rock, Conway

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health hospitals in North Little Rock and Conway recently welcomed new members to their leadership teams.

At Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock, Kimberly Walker, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, has accepted the position of chief nursing officer. 

Walker joins the healing ministry with nearly 25 years of nursing experience. She most recently served as divisional chief nursing officer over two facilities in Slidell, Louisiana: Ochsner Medical Center – North Shore and Slidell Memorial Hospital. 

Prior to joining Ochsner, Walker was chief nursing officer for St. Joseph Hospital, a Tenet Health facility in Tucson, Arizona. She has held various roles in other leading organizations such as HCA Healthcare with direct oversight responsibility of surgical services, emergency services and critical care. 

At Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway, Ian Stewart, MBA, has been named associate vice president (AVP) of hospital operations. 

Stewart joins the Conway hospital’s team with over 10 years of experience in health care, providing leadership and supporting several teams such as environmental services, facilities, therapy, security, biomed, nutritional services and more. He most recently served as assistant administrator for Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital in Easley, South Carolina. 

Throughout his career, Stewart has had proven success in implementing new programs, policy management, helping to grow volumes and improving the patient experience.
