The scholarship finalists were identified through a selection process that included a team of representatives from Baptist Health and the Reach for the Stars program. Scholarship funds may be used at any public nursing school in the state, including Baptist Health College Little Rock.

Reach for the Stars started with several large hospitals in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston to assist county hospital employees that work with populations in need. Since its inception, the program has partnered with 10 hospitals and provided 220 nursing scholarships throughout Texas. Nursing scholarships through this program are only available to employees of approved hospitals.

Eligible Baptist Health employees can submit applications for the spring 2023 semester online from Sept. 1 through Oct. 7 at https://bit.ly/bhreachforthestars. Up to 15 scholarships will be awarded.
