JACKSONVILLE, Ark. – The 10th annual Arkansas Charity Clays tournament, presented by Complete Care, is set for Oct. 29, at the Arkansas Game & Fish Foundation Shooting Sports Complex, 2800 Graham Road, in Jacksonville.
Mike Shepard, Baptist Health Foundation board member and senior vice president at First National Bank, serves as the event committee chair.
The clay shooting tournament offers marksmen an entertaining day complete with lunch, auction, activities, prizes and of course, the chance to compete. First, second and third place awards are given to teams and individuals with the overall highest scores.
Proceeds raised from this year’s event will support the Heart of Faith Fund. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in Arkansas. The Baptist Health Heart Failure and Transplant Institute has provided unmatched, seamless care for patients with advanced heart failure for more than 30 years. The Heart of Faith Fund supports patients who are facing heart failure, need a Left Ventricular Assisted Device (LVAD) or need a heart transplant.
