Unified Effort for Better Health

As part of its launch of the Total Health concept in 1991, Baptist Health published a children’s book titled “The Big Blanket.” The book featured a quilt made of many pieces that could cover a large group of people. An article explained the system’s partnership initiative by saying: “Like a fine handcrafted quilt that unites diverse pieces of cloth into a single, new fabric, Baptist is bringing these partnerships together in a unified effort for better health.”
