In 1980, Baptist Medical Center received a stained-glass window for the hospital’s chapel, donated by Gladys Sonneman of Fayetteville. “Christ the Good Shepherd” originally had been created for First Baptist Church in Fayetteville in 1908 and had been removed during some remodeling during the 1960s. The intricate window showed Jesus with three sheep.
