It is true that some medical issues can be helped with medications. However, more severe and chronic diseases require a focus not solely on medications, but on walking alongside patients in their illnesses. Overall it requires the physician to listen and build trusting relationships so that care can be provided on as many levels as possible.

I love spending time with family and friends in a variety of settings. I enjoy several sports as well as outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, kayaking, and hiking. My wife and I are involved in a local church and have enjoyed being a part of Bible studies and small groups. We like good food and good music, as well as traveling and experiencing new cultures.
