Jheanelle Dawkins, MD, earned Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2018. She later went on to complete a residency program in Family Medicine with UAMS at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.

Dr. Dawkins likes to take a holistic approach to treating her patients by looking at the person’s entire health – including physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing.

“I seek to serve their health needs holistically, listening to them and doing my best to address their concerns,” she said. “I want my patients and I to develop trust and for them to know that I will always be genuine, open hearted and authentic.”

Dr. Dawkins is originally from Mandeville, Jamaica, but has lived, work and gone to school in Arkansas since 2009. She enjoys gardening, cooking and baking, and being creative with makeup. She also enjoys being active in her community and volunteering at health clinics and with student groups.
