A joint replacement is a journey not just a surgery on a specific day. There is the process to get ready for surgery which starts in clinic and at home to the day of surgery to the recovery period which includes wound healing and regaining function. I am passionate about walking patients through the entire journey with a holistic approach from mental preparedness, nutritional considerations, family support, specific surgical plans for each patient, and routine follow up with coaching through the rehabilitation after surgery. My goal is for patients to feel comfortable and confident in the process and in me as their surgeon. Patients entrusting their care to me is something I take very serious and am humbled by so I work very hard to individualize their care for the best possible outcome.
