Do you want to make a difference? Every human being needs a purpose beyond themselves. There is no greater role than serving others. Volunteering at Baptist Health is a way to give back to the community by showing compassion to patients during their stay. Whether comforting a sick patient or giving a helping hand to hospital team members, Baptist Health volunteers make a real difference. Possible volunteer placements include: nursing units, information desks, critical care, surgery waiting, and therapy areas.

Summer Youth Program - The A-TEAM at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock (Closed for 2018)
This highly educational and interactive program is for students entering the 9th – 12th grades in the fall of 2018, who are interested in a healthcare career and who have not previously participated in the program.
There will be a session in June and a session in July. Each session will be held from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, four days per week for three weeks. Applicants will be selected, as long as slots are available, for one, but not both sessions and if selected, are expected to attend and actively participate each day. The program cost is $65.
We are looking for serious-minded applicants. This learning experience involves take home assignments, research and preparation for exams. Please do not apply if you cannot attend each day.
You may make your online application and payment, listing your preferred session – either June or July. Beginning on Thursday, February 1, applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis and are secured when payment is received. Slots are limited, so make your application now. We will continue receiving applications through Thursday, March 1, or until all slots are filled, whichever comes first. A-TEAM replaces the STAR Volunteen Program on the Little Rock campus and there will be no “traditional” volunteen program.
Teens not interested in the A-TEAM Program, but wishing to volunteer in a more “traditional” setting may apply to serve in the Activities Program at our Long-Term Care Facility by using the regular online volunteer application and designating Parkway Health Center as their facility of choice.
