FORT SMITH, Ark. – Rudhir Tandon, MD, FACC, recently joined Baptist Health Cardiology Center-Fort Smith.
Dr. Tandon is board certified in interventional, general and nuclear cardiology, as well as echocardiography and vascular interpretation. He has more than 10 years of experience in the management of atherosclerotic arterial disease, advanced heart failure, heart valve problems, cardiac arrhythmias, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, stroke, and congenital heart defects in adults.
Dr. Tandon earned his medical degree from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Rohtak, India. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and later completed fellowship training in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, and advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation at the University of Iowa. He most recently practiced in Northwest Arkansas.

When not caring for his patients, Dr. Tandon loves to travel with his wife Anamika and their little boy Amae, exploring new destinations across US and internationally. Dr. Tandon also enjoys watching and playing tennis, cricket and soccer in addition to experimenting with new cuisines when home with family.
