Psychotherapist Kristen McGrew Now Seeing Patients at Baptist Health Family Clinic-Malvern

MALVERN, Ark. – As part of Baptist Health’s new satellite behavioral health program, psychotherapist Kristen McGrew began seeing patients and providing counseling services in Malvern last week.

A licensed professional counselor, McGrew offers individual, group, family and couple’s therapy, crisis and grief counseling, substance abuse counseling and referrals for continued mental health care. She provides services to both adults and children two days a week in Dr. Brashear’s former practice at Baptist Health Family Clinic-Malvern, located at 1234 South Main, Suite 1.

McGrew received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and her master’s degree in counseling from Henderson State University. She went on to earn her doctorate in counseling psychology from Argosy University in 2012.

Before joining the Baptist Health team, McGrew was a therapist in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ substance abuse treatment center, the UAMS women’s mental health center, the child diagnostic unit and the hospital’s women’s inpatient unit for the past three years.
