LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Mudassar Kamran, MD, MSc, DPhil (Oxon) has joined the team at Baptist Health Neurosurgery Arkansas.
Dr. Kamran received his medical degree from King Edward Medical College, Lahore. He subsequently attended University of Oxford where he completed a Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) in Surgery and an MSc in Neuroscience. He obtained residency training in Diagnostic Radiology and pursued fellowships in Diagnostic Neuroradiology and Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology (also known as endovascular neurosurgery or neurointerventional radiology) from Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine, in St. Louis.
Dr. Kamran specializes in Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology – image-guided, minimally invasive treatments of head, neck and spine diseases. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology for diagnostic radiology and neuroradiology.
Dr. Kamran has over 35 peer-reviewed publications and currently teaches courses in the Department of Radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Dr. Kamran speaks four languages: English, Urdu, Punjabi and Hindi. His multilingual abilities allow him to tailor each of his patient’s specific needs and circumstances, while practicing medicine in a compassionate manner.
