STUTTGART, Ark. – Baptist Health Community Outreach invites residents of Stuttgart and surrounding areas to register for a free, three-session diabetes education class in February.
Over the course of the program, participants will learn how to manage their health through nutrition and physical activity as well as techniques to reduce stress and help them cope. Topics will also include diabetes risk factors, complications and carbohydrate counting.
The classes will be Wednesdays in February – Feb. 8, 15 and 22 – from noon to 1 p.m. at the Stuttgart Public Library, 2002 S. Buerkle St. in Stuttgart.
