LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Linda Gray, known for her award-winning work on the blockbuster “Dallas” television series, will be the featured speaker at the 30th Anniversary Baptist Health Bolo Bash Luncheon on Wednesday, April 17.
Doors open at 11 a.m. to view auction items in the J.A. Gilbreath Conference Center on the campus of Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock. The program, presented by Dillard’s, begins at noon. This year’s event will benefit Baptist Health’s nursing initiatives, including scholarships for students at Baptist Health College-Little Rock.
A Bolo Bash Reception is also set for Tuesday, April 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the home of Millie Ward and Larry Stone, featuring a meet-and-greet with Gray. Advance tickets are required to attend.
Gray’s portrayal of Sue Ellen in the television series “Dallas” brought her worldwide stardom and critical acclaim – earning her two nominations for Best Actress at the Golden Globe Awards, an Emmy Award nomination for Lead Actress in a Drama Series and numerous international awards.
The actress also serves as United Nations Goodwill Ambassador to the city of Dallas, and is actively involved in community initiatives like Meals on Wheels and AIDS fundraisers.
