
FORT SMITH, Ark. – Baptist Health Cancer Center-Fort Smith is pleased to welcome Catherine Flannigan, APRN, to its oncology and hematology care team.
Flannigan earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in Denton and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Tyler. With a strong background in trauma and transplant surgery, she brings extensive clinical experience and deep compassion to her role. A native of Texas, Flannigan most recently cared for renal transplant and dialysis patients at a clinic in Alaska.
In her new position, Flannigan joins Varant Arzoumanian, MD; Kayla Moury, PA-C; and Maria Sanchez, APRN, in providing comprehensive care for patients receiving cancer and blood disorder treatments at Baptist Health Cancer Center-Fort Smith.
Outside of work, Flannigan is a devoted wife and mother of 12-year-old twins. She and her family are actively involved in their church and enjoy spending time outdoors. During their two years in Alaska, Flannigan discovered a passion for fishing—particularly for salmon and rainbow trout—and she also enjoys baking and making sourdough for her family.
