Baptist Health Weight & Nutrition Center in Little Rock provides quick and easy access in the new Premier Medical Plaza located at 10915 N. Rodney Parham Road, which also serves as a highly visible location near Interstate 430.

The team of health professionals including registered dietitians and exercise physiologists work together to create a customized plan to help patients achieve lasting weight loss, improve overall health, manage a chronic health condition or control food allergies.

Anyone can visit Baptist Health Weight & Nutrition Center without a referral to take advantage of the comprehensive list of services, which include:

  • Effective, non-surgical weight loss planning
  • Goal setting to improve overall health
  • Maintenance plan to aid chronic health conditions
  • Comprehensive guides to aid with diet and exercise
  • Healthy lifestyle information and education
  • Consistent communication with the weight loss guide and dietitians

The center’s non-surgical weight loss program offers each individual a completely customized plan for their specific needs that takes into account calories, macronutrients, allergies, likes and dislikes, previous weight loss programs used, individual progression, chronic health conditions and current medications.

This comprehensive weight loss program lasts about six months on average for participants. Some participants may be in the program longer if they have more weight to lose or other additional health conditions, and others may reach their goals quicker than the six-month period.

In addition to the weight loss program, the center also offers one-hour nutritional counseling sessions that includes a metabolic test to help the participant learn what they need to focus on in their personal journey for weight loss and better health.

Weight is a driver of many chronic health conditions such as diabetes, and Baptist Health strives to be a leader in preventative services to help people have sustainable results, live healthier lives and have better clinical outcomes.
