Baptist Health to Hold COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics at Two Fort Smith Churches on June 12

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Baptist Health Community Outreach, in partnership with the Arkansas Department of Health, will hold mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinics at two Fort Smith churches on Saturday, June 12. Times and locations are listed below:

  • 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Mission United Methodist Church, 721 N. 10th St. (Walk-up clinic)
  • 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, 2701 Old Greenwood Road (Drive-thru clinic)

The single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be administered at no cost on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required. Those coming to be vaccinated must be 18 years of age or older. Please bring a photo ID.

COVID-19 was the third-leading cause of death in the United States in 2020 behind only heart disease and cancer. While there isn’t a vaccine that prevents the first two leading causes of death, there is a vaccine for the third.

By taking action and getting the vaccine, you are not only protecting yourself, but also helping to protect your family, friends, coworkers and fellow residents.
