LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health, the state’s largest private, not-for-profit healthcare provider, and Stone Ward, a full-service advertising agency with teams in Little Rock, Northwest Arkansas and Chicago, have been honored with a Silver Anvil in Integrated Communications by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for their exemplary women’s healthcare campaign. This prestigious national award recognizes the highest standards of performance in the public relations profession.
In an effort to extend its reach and deepen its connection with women at all stages of life, Baptist Health and Stone Ward recently launched an innovative campaign portraying the healthcare service provider as a partner in comprehensive women’s health care—from reproductive health to elder care.
The campaign was designed to meet women where they are in their lives, acknowledging their roles as the primary health decision-makers in their families. Recognizing that women are responsible for 80 percent of healthcare decisions in households, the campaign focused on emotional connection and tailored messaging to engage women in whatever stage of life they were in and ensure they knew Baptist Health should be their trusted partner in caring for themselves and their families.
Katy Bartlett-Wake, executive creative director at Stone Ward, commented, “Great work is made possible by great clients, and our partnership with Baptist Health is evidence of that. This campaign truly connected with Arkansas women on their own terms by reframing insecurities as strengths. Winning the Silver Anvil is a nod to our team’s creative dedication and the trust Baptist Health has in us to share their vision for comprehensive women’s health. It’s more than an award—it’s proof of the impact we can make together.”
Strategically leveraging diverse media, the campaign successfully generated over 75 million impressions, increasing online engagement, incoming website traffic and female office appointments across all service lines.
“We are deeply honored by this recognition from PRSA, which underscores our commitment to providing comprehensive and empathetic healthcare services to women in Arkansas,” added Lawrence Montgomery, chief marketing officer for Baptist Health. “This campaign has significantly enhanced our connection with the communities we serve, and we are proud of the positive impact it has had.”
