FORT SMITH, Ark. – Baptist Health will soon relocate pediatric services for area patients into a new clinic inside Baptist Health Medical Plaza on Dodson Avenue in Fort Smith.
On July 6, Raelene Mapes, DO, will begin seeing patients at Baptist Health Pediatric Clinic-Fort Smith located at 1500 Dodson Avenue, Suite 260. Baptist Health’s former pediatric clinic locations on Ellsworth Road in Fort Smith and on Pointer Trail in Van Buren will both close.
Dr. Mapes, who previously saw patients at Baptist Health Family and Pediatric Clinic-Van Buren on Pointer Trail, has been a pediatrician in the River Valley since 1999 and sees patients from newborns to adolescents.
