NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Open and free to the public, Baptist Health’s annual Head North to Health Fair and screening event will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon at McCain Mall in North Little Rock.
For more than 25 years, Baptist Health has hosted this event that attracts people from across central Arkansas who take advantage of free health screenings for body mass index, blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol and PSA for men. A limited number of free flu shots will be available as well.
Over the years, nurses at this event have helped many Arkansans become aware of dangerous health issues that they otherwise would have never known about through the free screenings.
Door prizes will be given away hourly, and the first 50 participants will receive a complimentary goodie bag. Mark your calendar for Head North to Health, which will be held on the lower level of McCain Mall, at North Little Rock.
