Baptist Health Pregnancy Wellness Center-Little Rock Opens, Offering Free Resources to Mothers

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Expectant and new mothers have a new resource available for free health education, screenings, resources and referrals in Little Rock.

Baptist Health Pregnancy Wellness Center-Little Rock, which offers the following services until the child is 18 months of age  and is staffed by a registered nurse, is now open at 10117 Kanis Road:

  • Free pregnancy testing
  • Safe sleep assessments
  • Medicaid referral letter provided on-site
  • Safety baby showers
  • Car seat installation
  • Health screenings
  • Newborn assessments
  • Weight and height assessments
  • Breastfeeding assessments
  • CPR classes
  • Translation services available
  • Pregnancy education

Baptist Health Pregnancy Wellness Center-Little Rock is operating within current COVID-19 guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to keep patients and caregivers safe and healthy. Patients, families and staff are screened, and anyone not feeling well is asked to reschedule their appointment for a later date.

The center is open Monday through Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. by appointment.
