DEWITT, Ark. – The public is invited to a meet-and-greet event for Julie Gardner, MD, and Laura Hannum, DNP, APRN, on Tuesday, July 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Baptist Health Family Clinic-DeWitt. The clinic is located at 1703 South Whitehead Drive.
Dr. Gardner and Hannum are joining the team at Baptist Health Family Clinic-DeWitt-A Service of Baptist Health Medical Center-Stuttgart. Dr. Garner additionally practices at Baptist Health Stuttgart Medical Clinic, also a service of BHMC-Stuttgart.
A native of Dumas, Dr. Gardner has a heart for serving rural communities by offering excellent care. Following her pre-med studies at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, she worked as an EMT and then completed medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. Dr. Gardner also completed her residency there and at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Outside of work, Dr. Gardner enjoys spending time with her husband, Bennett, and their labrador retriever, Boomer. She grew up attending Arkansas Razorback sporting events and remains an avid Hog fan today. She is an active member of the First Baptist Church of Stuttgart.
Hannum, a native of Star City, received her medical education from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. When she’s not seeing patients, Hannum enjoys spending time with her husband and family outside of work. She also loves to travel to new places.
