LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health Heart Institute/Arkansas Cardiology-Little Rock is pleased to announce that Michael Cross, MD, FACC, FACP, RPVI, will be joining the team.
Dr. Cross, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, received his degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he also completed his residency and fellowships.
Dr. Cross, an interventional cardiologist, specializes in percutaneous coronary and peripheral intervention; providing routine, preventative, and emergency cardiovascular care. Dr. Cross is board-certified in ABIM-Internal Medicine, ABIM-Cardiovascular Disease, NBE, RPVI, and CBNC, and is currently working towards his ABIM-Interventional Cardiology certification.
“I practice general and interventional cardiology and thrive on the ability to care for patients throughout their lives,” Dr. Cross said. “From preventing the development and slowing the progression of heart disease to managing critically ill patients during a major heart attack, I take great satisfaction in caring for patients in both the acute and long-term settings.”
Arkansas Cardiology is located at 9501 Baptist Health Drive, Suite 600, in Little Rock. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
