Baptist Health Foundation Welcomes Dawn Turner

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Dawn Turner recently joined Baptist Health Foundation as the development and special event officer for the nonprofit organization’s operations in western Arkansas.

Baptist Health Foundation’s mission is to provide financial support to advance the healing ministry of Baptist Health through purposeful and philanthropic partnerships. In this new role, Turner will coordinate and implement the foundation fundraising efforts in the River Valley.

“Dawn joins our team with many years of experience in cultivating meaningful relationships,” said Lena Hayes, chief development officer of Baptist Health Foundation. “She knows and loves the community, so we are thrilled to have her help us build philanthropic partnerships that strengthen Baptist Health’s ability to provide hope and healing in the River Valley.”

Turner most recently served as membership engagement administrator at the Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce. Prior to that, she was the advancement director for Christ the King Catholic School. The Fort Smith native earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2013. In her free time, Turner stays busy with her daughter, who plays competitive travel volleyball.
