Baptist Health Farmers Markets Return This Month in Little Rock, North Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health BHealthy Farmers Markets return this fall for three days in Little Rock and North Little Rock, providing a convenient and fun place to purchase local, seasonal produce.

The farmers markets, all in October, are intended to promote healthy eating habits through a variety of events like cooking demonstrations, tips, contests and giveaways.

Scheduled October events are:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Baptist Health Medical Center-Little Rock
  • Thursday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock (near the Rehab & Women’s Center Entrance, or west side of hospital)
  • Friday, Oct. 25, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Promenade at Chenal, 17711 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock; Chef Michael Robichaud of Baptist Health will be preparing balsamic chicken over spaghetti squash with zucchini au gratin, available for purchase at the pop-up market for $8.
