LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Kourtney Matlock, assistant vice president at Baptist Health, was awarded the C.E. Melville Young Administrator of the Year Award during the recent Arkansas Hospital Association’s annual convention. This award is named for the late C.E. Melville, a long-time hospital administrator, and is presented by the Arkansas Health Executives Forum.
Matlock is currently providing executive leadership for case coordination across nine hospitals, eICU care, telemedicine and our home health/hospice enterprise. She was previously responsible for the Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative project at 15 clinics, while she served as a regional practice administrator for multiple clinics at Practice Plus and Arkansas Health Group.
Matlock holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Henderson State University and a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She is also a recent graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock. She is an active member of CareLink of Arkansas board of directors and is developing population-care management abilities with Partnership for a Healthy Arkansas.
