LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Baptist Health Downtown Care medical clinic is hosting a drop-in open house on Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. Open to the public, everyone from local residents to those who work in the surrounding area are invited to attend. Tours will be available after the official ribbon cutting at 4 p.m.
Located at 401 West Capitol Avenue, Suite 101B, in the Lyon Building, Baptist Health Downtown Care is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and can be reached by calling 501-374-2629. The medical clinic is a hybrid of a walk-in urgent care center and an appointment-based family physician’s office.
It’s an all-new way to see a physician where and when needed the most. By offering walk-in and express appointments, Baptist Health Downtown Care can be utilized for a person’s primary care giver or for urgent care matters like unexpected illnesses or minor injuries.
Dr. Adam Grant is the primary care provider. Grant received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Des Moines University and completed his residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York. Grant is trained in a more holistic approach to medicine, which means he considers a patient’s environment, nutrition and body system as a whole when diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
