Baptist Health Community Outreach to Host Free Cooking Class Featuring Healthy Chicken Tacos, Salsa

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. –  Get ready to learn how to make healthy chicken tacos and homemade salsa at the next Cooking With Community Outreach class on Thursday, June 13. 

Cooking with Community Outreach classes are taught by registered dietitian Samantha Stadter and designed to help you gain confidence in the kitchen and learn about the foods you love to eat. The class will prepare, cook, and taste different dishes using a variety of ingredients. Each student will leave class with written recipes and tips, and best of all — the Community Outreach staff will handle kitchen clean up. 

Topics include:

  • Nutrition benefits of each food
  • Ingredient selection
  • Saving money at the grocery store
  • Cooking techniques
  • Time-saving tips 

Cooking With Community Outreach is held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the third Thursdays of the month at 10117 Kanis Road in Little Rock.
