
CONWAY, Ark. – Omar Yacob, MD, recently joined the team at Arkansas Cardiology Clinic-Conway.
Dr. Yacob received his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College and completed his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the University of Connecticut in Hartford.
He provides comprehensive care in both general and interventional cardiology, treating a wide range of heart and vascular conditions — including coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease and pulmonary embolism. Dr. Yacob specializes in minimally invasive procedures to restore blood flow to the hearts and legs to improve heart and vascular health.
Dr. Yacob is board certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology, and is currently pursuing board certification in Interventional Cardiology.
“My focus is on delivering personalized, patient-centered care,” Dr. Yacob said. “I believe in combining advanced, minimally invasive treatments with education and support to help patients take control of their heart and vascular health.”
Arkansas Cardiology Clinic-Conway, at 625 United Drive, Suite 220, is conveniently located on the Baptist Health Medical Center-Conway campus, in the Medical Office Building just west of the hospital. The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
