Below is a message regarding a network disruption for patients with Aetna insurance

December 17, 2025

As of the date of this communication, Baptist Health does not have a 2026 contract with the following insurance plans.

  • Aetna Medicare Advantage Plans
  • Aetna Commercial Plans

Due to irreconcilable differences, we will not have a contract with all Aetna Medicare Advantage plans beginning January 1, 2026.  For benefit and coverage questions, contact your agent before March 31 to discuss your options.

Baptist Health has offered Aetna to continue the Commercial contract with no changes to terms or rates in order to continue in network access. Despite our best effort, Aetna has rejected our offers resulting in the likelihood that Aetna Commercial members will be out of network beginning January 1, 2026. Baptist Health remains open to resume negotiations for a Commercial contract.
