About Baptist Health Community Wellness Center-Sherwood Senior Citizen Community Center

The Baptist Health Community Wellness Center initiative began with the primary mission of providing health promotion and prevention activities to medically underserved, uninsured and underinsured individuals. The wellness centers are community-based partnerships with churches and community centers with the goal of creating a healthier community. Services offered by our Community Outreach department include health education, care coordination, immunization, screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar and community referrals. These educational programs are held virtually throughout the year.
