After your appointment, schedule your next yearly visit before you leave your doctor’s office so it doesn’t slip your mind.
Take a daily vitamin.
Even if you maintain a healthy diet, you are likely to have a few nutritional gaps. A daily multivitamin ensures you are receiving the nutrients you need to stay physically and mentally healthy. Choose a vitamin made of whole, natural ingredients, rather than one with synthetic fillers.
Invest in your mental and emotional health.
Make sure to carve out time for activities you enjoy, and maintain close, healthy friendships to bolster your mental and emotional health. Schedule these activities well in advance and treat them like you would a work meeting with an important client – only cancel if you absolutely must.
